Providing the tools and knowledge needed to access both the Internet and computers in general, our Technology Services are offered through our Adaptive Technology (AT) and Community Access programs, as well as our AT Internship.
Adaptive Technology (AT) supports people to overcome obstacles that may otherwise prevent them from using a computer or accessing the Internet. The Adaptive Technology service is available due to support from the Department of Advanced Education and Skills. Our AT Coordinator has a lot of experience with helping people use the equipment and finding ways to own it themselves.
In our CAP room, we have a wide range of computer hardware and software all in a fully accessible environment. Anyone can come in and try out a piece of equipment to see what works best for them.
