If you have an interest in technology, especially the use of software and hardware to allow those with disabilities to access computers and the Internet, then our Adaptive Technology Internship could be great for you.
Directed at providing services, supports, and education to businesses, employers, government, and service providers, this program aims to showcase the value of hiring people with disabilities as a viable labour source. Together, we can help your business become a more inclusive workplace while benefitting in other ways as well.
Interactions with other people can be both positive and negative experiences, and it often depends on how the situations are approached. We’ve highlighted a number of tips that can help a large variety of typically stressful situations have better outcomes.
Building on the successes of our past, our strategic plan provides a structure for the next three years that will allow us to develop services and other needed resources to ensure the province has a great degree of inclusion.
